THE Grafton women’s side and Lismore City had the crowd on their feet in what was a nail-biting affair at Rugby Park South Grafton on Saturday.

After racing to a 15-nil lead  just five-minutes into the game, the Redmen looked like running away with the contest. However, Lismore staged a remarkable comeback in the second half to record a 26-24 victory.

There was plenty of skill and intensity on show for the parochial crowd. But more importantly the camaraderie and respect after the game shown by both teams was a highlight of the day.
