Grafton picked up their third win of the day after the Redmen held their nerve against Marlins to record a gutsy 29-7 victory.
In a sometimes-fiery encounter there was a liberal dose of free-flowing rugby punctuated by plenty of big hits. With both sides sporting plenty of Fijian players it was always going to be an entertaining game.
After a slow start the momentum shifted to Grafton with their forwards crunching a little bit further over the advantage line.
And with five-eight Lucas Law pulling the strings behind a dominant pack, a Grafton victory never looked in doubt.
Law was simply outstanding controlling play while Cameron Wicks was the pick of the forwards with another whole-hearted effort.
