Grafton’s women side came up against a red-hot Port Macquarie outfit going down 44-10 in a lop-sided affair. Port ran in eight tries with Em Currey picking up a treble.

There was plenty of free-flowing rugby on display in a high quality game. Port were dominant at the breakdown and aggressive in defence which saw the visitors on the back foot for most of the game. To their credit Grafton stuck to the task and played some enterprising rugby but at the end of the day

Port were far too strong and look like the team to beat in the Mid North Coast competition. For Grafton Tamar McHugh and Clare Gardner scored tries.
