LABELLED as also-rans early in the season, Grafton Redmen reserve grade side now see themselves featuring in finals footy after a remarkable run of wins.
In fact, the last time Grafton suffered defeat was way back in round-6 of the Mid North Coast competition and ironically it was against Hastings Vikings.
On Saturday Grafton reversed the result with an emphatic 36-7 victory over Vikings to secure fourth place on the ladder and a crack at Bowraville Goannas in the minor semi-final next week.
There is no doubting Grafton’s ability to score points and if they can combine their attacking brilliance with patience, they could give the competition an almighty shake.
